   and sign up if you don’t already have an account. Verify your email
   address, then log in.

2. Join the Midjourney Server

1. Get Midjourney Invite LinkVisit the

4. Generate Your First Image

1. Use the /imagine CommandIn the message box, type /imagine and press
   space or click the prompt field that appears.
   After /imagine prompt:, type in a short description
   of what you want the AI to create. For example:

   /imagine prompt: A serene forest at sunrise, pastel colors, fantasy style

2. Press EnterThe Midjourney Bot will indicate it’s generating your image.
   In about a minute (sometimes less), it returns four image variations.

5. Interpret the Results

Midjourney displays a 2×2 grid of images labeled U1, U2, U3, U4, and
V1, V2, V3, V4 below them:

• U = Upscale:
  Click U1 to upscale the first image in the grid, making
  it larger and more detailed.
• V = Variation:
  Click V1 to create four new images based on the style
  and composition of image #1.

Use these buttons to refine your prompt’s results and zoom in on the best image.

6. Upscale & Variations

1. Upscale the Best OptionIdentify your favorite image. If it’s the top-left image (#1),
   click U1. The bot generates a larger, more detailed
   version, which appears as a separate message.
2. Try VariationsClick V1 (or V2, V3, V4) to explore variations of
   an image you like. This helps when you want the same style but
   with slight differences.
3. Save or DownloadRight-click (or long-press on mobile) on the upscaled image
   and select “Save image” to download it.

7. Refine Your Prompt

1. Add More DetailsSpecify style or color palette in your prompt. For example:

   /imagine prompt: A serene forest at sunrise, pastel colors, fantasy style, hyper-detailed, trending on artstation

2. Use Keywords & ParametersMidjourney supports parameters like --ar for aspect
   ratio or --seed for reproducible results, for example:

   /imagine prompt: A serene forest at sunrise, pastel colors, fantasy style --ar 16:9 --seed 1234

   to discover more parameters.

3. Experiment FreelyCombine different descriptive words and styles. Trial and error
   is part of the creative process!

8. Manage Your Subscription (If Applicable)

   subscribe for more credits or unlimited usage. Visit

   to manage or upgrade your plan.
2. Check Your UsageIn some versions of the Midjourney bot, you can type
   /info to see how many image generations
   (or “jobs”) you have remaining.
